A subject that is touchy but a reality for all beings on this planet is the topic for today. DEATH, now there is little to nothing you can do to avoid death. Man has always tried to find a way to prolong his life span and find ways to not die. But as of now he has still not mastered it. But then there still is necromancy, werewolves, zombies, immortals the list goes on and on but this post is just about you poor little flesh bags known as humans.
The thought of death is a shocker and heartbreaking to majority of people. But I have recently come to believe that it is really a matter of perspective. Now during life people are constantly reminded of what they do badly and the good never shines as bright. And no one ever really promised that life would be easy for anyone but it does promise years of hurt, sadness, pain and suffering. That is one thing it is promised to give you. And each person generally deals with those emotions differently. Whether alcohol, drugs, sex or anger suffering in life can make you try and numb the pain and while you’re numb your cuts cause others to bleed. Then death strikes and all of a sudden people then decide to throw flowers and say nice things about you publicly. Well that all at first sounds real good, but were you praising this person while alive? If so then your awesome because you probably were a shining star in there life. But this piece goes for the other people the people that rained on there parade for years and years and only when they were gone did they decide to say something nice. Only when they could not hear you or defend and thank you for praising them…only then did you decide to honor there works. But in the end (even if it seems like there’s) they may get the last laugh.
If you are religious then there are places such as heaven, a higher plane of existence or reincarnation as a lower life form. Or hey you may die and get like 70 virgins. Either way death becomes a release and not a punishment anymore. Now there is another side of the coin which on this coin it has a few names like hell, hades, tartarus one of those places yeah won’t go into that but I hear bad people go there...and its hot just saying. But then you have those that believe when people die they just cease to exist which is better then hell and better then the life a lot of people live so again it’s a winning situation. Point being next time you look at death all gloomy like just remember, once you die you may be going to a better place and it may be you that is happy and leaving the other ones behind.
