We Steal Secrets The Story Of Wikileaks Movie Review

We Steal Secrets is a documentary about Wikileaks.org and it's Founder Julian Assange. The movie starts off explaining the origins and reasoning behind the creation of the website, which as Julian Assange explains it  “ A government can not keeps secrets from their citizens. When you don't have information you can not make informed decisions.”
   Julian Assange

And as a hacker he himself believes this to be true and created Wikileaks as a way for people to submit anonymous "leaks," that governments the United States being the main focus of his attacks feels the people of the world don't deserve to know. While this first video is a few years old it grabbed my attention and is a must see for everyone.  Normally I don't do this but this video contains graphic content.

Of course after this video got leaked the government defended the pilots actions. To me it seemed like they were playing call of duty or duck hunt and didn't even look at those people as alive and human. The government goes on to look at Julian Assange as a threat to national security. But it seemed the more they slandered him the more secrets he leaked and people who used to believe     and trust their rulers now saw how corrupt they truly were.

A cat and mouse game ensues on  the documentary and Julian Assange becomes a celebrity. He has a small group of like minded people to help him run the site and stands behind the fact that if you submit information to the site you as a source will remain anonymous and protected.

As a proud anarchist this movie motivated me to keep blogging and to start trying to spread information of the governments wrong doings regardless of the consequences. It is a shame that we live in a country that would rather punish individuals for spreading truth and exposing injustices instead of rewarding them and causing the exposed bodies to be the ones punished and to force them to change their ways. As stated in the movie " If the people don't have all the information then they become unable to make informed decisions." https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRHiryIWZfr0cbeDsBi3A63CsTM3f3HA0l3Of6wOH9jz0qQFDJYZjDUQpLx

That statement is so so true. Julian Assange later became more self serving then he was at first and some say that he is a manipulator but personally I see it as a man who stuck his middle finger to the "man," and told him to take a ride on his suck stick and you can't condemn someone for that because it takes courage.

This is another movie that the video speaks much louder then any words I could say. But if after seeing that video your not interested in watching the movie nothing I can say will convince you.

Dirty Little Secret: The Jodi Arias Movie

This past Saturday the Lifetime network aired the thrilling story of Jodi Arias aka my future baby mama. The actress who played Jodi Arias was Tania Raymonde ( Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Wild Cherry) Is a dead ringer for Jodi and I hate to say it maybe actually be hotter. The story moves really fast with Jodi meeting Travis Alexander (The man she was convicted of stabbing huuum 27 times shooting in the head once then cutting his throat and no not in that order) The movie in my opinion makes Jodi more devious then she was.
     Tania Raymonde as Jodi Arias

It placed all the fault on her and portrayed her as a crazy, stalker, sexy she devil( that she may be) but if any of you watched the trial then you would know a lot came out about Mr. Alexander. Basically the movie moves very fast. From the couple meeting in las Vegas to them having a long distance relationship, to the birth of the stalker out of Jodi quickly moving to her wanting to become a Mormon in order to please Travis, to their initial breakup and Travis moving on and Jodi stalking her way back in his life to them hooking up and finally the inevitable death sequence which left out the fact that Jodi was taking pictures of him because he was a vain ass hole while he was showering and she accidentally dropped the camera he got mad rushed her and the rest was history. They depicted her as a monster!!!! (One who I am madly in love with but I digress.)
None the less it's an amazingly good movie!!! What is even better is that the movie takes place before the trial ended. In the real world before the verdict came in that Miss Arias was found guilty Lifetime was already promoting the movie. Obviously this movie ensures that she will never be forgotten and while I personally thought she was going to get a hung jury this is about the movie. Watching it is actually more terrifying because this all “actually,” happened. With a television friendly run time of 1 hour 24 minutes and 59 seconds it is well worth every moment.

Now for my personal feelings. Now this is coming from someone who watched each and every single day of the Jodi Arias trial, I am talking about every day I went to work HLN was on from the time I got their till the time I left and if it wasn't on HLN it was on Law and Order. During the trial ALOT of things “triggered,” Jodi to act certain ways, things that would trigger a lot of people. For the record Travis Alexander was a Mormon and for months the only way he would have sex with Jodi was either Anal or Oral. From my personal experience most of you women would not enjoy that very much but she not only put up with it but loved him so much she decided to convert to the religion Mormon!!! Did she have her faults? Yes did he..double so did I mention he was cheating on her? Did the Lifetime movie portray him in a negative light at all? Of course not.
