So my day today was a very boring yet interesting day. I got to spend the most part of it with the one that I love so that made it bearable, But killing time is never fun. Finally found my bed and got a chance to clear my head from the stresses of this life and I was fortunate enough to be in the middle of a storm for what seems to be hours upon hours. You may not have caught on to it yet but my brain doesn’t really work like most other people; probably because I am insane. Well maybe not clinically but pretty sure I have some screws loose; I think it gives me more personality though. The interest of my affection coined me a “walking black out,” when I am drinking... I thought it was amusing. Anyways the sound of rain and thunder always seem to calm me down and generate lots of brain activity. And this brings me to the point of this post.
When I was younger someone light-heartedly told me that when it rained it was God shedding tears for how evil the world was... And even at that age I responded “So when it snows is that God scratching his dandruff?” That comment got a very mean response. Primitive man always did take things that we now know as a scientific norm and interpret them as an act of God or something along those lines. Even though today people will laugh at those thoughts and say how silly they have been and how far we have come. But were they really that far off? I mean is it that hard to believe that rain is God crying? I mean even Forest Gump was able to tell how many different types of rain there were. Rained that was the size of pennies, rain that seemed to hop up out of the ground etc. But I have seen amazing types of rain I call it notebook rain. Notebook rain is the kind of rain that if you and the one you loved were standing in it waiting for a bus, and the shelter was full you would stand there and hold and kiss each other and be happy that you have one another. And when the bus pulled up and you saw it was full you both smiled and danced in the rain. Yes you both were cold and wet but it gives you a reason to hold on to each other to stay warm.
Then there is the rain that shinobi movies thrive on tiny little drops of hate falling from the sky. Where it seems each drop is followed by a flash of lightning and a crack of thunder. It seems uncaring and dangerous it causes floods to destroy towns and makes families seek shelter in all places. This rain is Pain; it seems to only want to drench the blood off your body so that more blood can keep flowing out of your body. The Earth itself seems to rise up and make a cast around your soles so that you can’t move. And all of a sudden something as simple and passive as water has become your greatest enemy. These are the most common feelings I get while around one of my favorite elements but as you can see is it really that much of a stretch to see this act of nature truly be an emotional creator weeping over his tortured children? Guess its just a little food for thought. Either way kiddies remember if your going to cut don’t cross the road, instead go down the street!!!!
