It has certainly been a while since I posted anything up here and I do apologize for that. Long story short I have been doing a lot of ghost writing on Elance.com, and from requests on facebook but more about that later. Today right here, right now is the first installment of a new idea of mine...movie reviews. The reason I decided to do this is because for 1 I watch a ton of movies, from box office hit's and anime all the way to horrible B rated zombie flicks. I will try and not give many spoilers but before I do give one I will post a warning, now on to business.
For my 1st review I chose Star Trek Into Darkness which is a sequel to Star Trek. When I sat down to watch the movie I really watched it out of boredom thanks to all my tv shows having season finales. That being said I am not a Trekkie and had little knowledge about the show or past movies. I figured I would hate it but boy was I wrong. I did see the first Star Trek and was glad to see that the entire cast returned( nothing ruins a sequel like cast replacements), the environment of the movie looked beautiful and all in all it had more action then most martial arts movies. I was very satisfied with their choice of a villain(Khan) and the day after I watched the movie I watched Star Trek The Wrath of Khan and the day after that I started on Star Trek Deep Space 9. Now I'm sure some of you may ask how this is relevant and my answer is simply that is how good the movie was it made me ashamed of myself for not being a Trekkie already.
I must admit that about 39 minutes into the movie the plot was rather transparent but thankfully they added a little twist in the movie setting up a good opening for a 3rd movie. I really can't say enough how this is a movie that everyone needs to watch.
Well that wraps up my first review..don't lose faith in me just yet I know it could have been much better and more in depth but it is most likely going to be the best movie of the year so WATCH IT!!!
